Phoenix Police Museum

Phoenix Police Museum

The Phoenix Police Museum sets out to educate the public in the history of the Pheonix Police Department in both an historic and modern context in order to enhance the image of law enforcement and help interact with the community through a positive learning environment.

The museum began as a small exhibit at Historic City Hall and with the assistance of the Phoenix Museum of History, the exhibit morphed into a six month display before a larger venue was funded by studies from the Arizona Humanities Council. The museum is now housed in Historic City Hall, the former home of the Phoenix Police Department from 1928 until 1975.

Some of the exhibits include:

  • The first marshal’s office and jail
  • Arizona Rangers
  • Early law enforcement
  • Police helicopters, cars, and motorcycles display
  • Technology changes through the years
  • Breaking Barriers in Law Enforcement

Arizona Charitable Giving is a labor of love created to make it easier for the residents of our great state to search and find local charities that touch their hearts. We share selected charities and events to a large distribution list of Arizona residents via email and social media on a regular basis. Any qualified charitable organizations are welcome to submit their profile to be included in our on-going outreach efforts.

Thank you to our sponsors this month.
