The goal of JAAZ is to help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace.
In learning these lessons, and putting them into quantifiable action, students become intimately familiar with economics and finances. They become better prepared to assume their role in the practical world of work and responsible citizenship. This philosophy has been a part of the organization since 1957, with core values of:
Belief in the boundless potential of young people
Commitment to the principles of market based economics and entrepreneurship
Passion for what we do and honesty, integrity and excellence in how we do it
Respect for the talents, creativity, perspectives, and backgrounds of all individuals
Belief in the power of partnership and collaboration
Conviction in the educational and motivational impact of relevant, hands-on learning
Throughout JA’s sequential and integrated kindergarten through grade 12 programs, students use information, apply basic skills, think critically, and solve complex problems to prepare them for life as adults.
Arizona Charitable Giving is a labor of love created to make it easier for the residents of our great state to search and find local charities that touch their hearts. We share selected charities and events to a large distribution list of Arizona residents via email and social media on a regular basis. Any qualified charitable organizations are welcome to submit their profile to be included in our on-going outreach efforts.
